The Door-Guard Interface (DGI) is used to guard doors that require protection even when the Galaxy system is unset. Unauthorised access to a protected area results in a local, audible warning. The DGI should be situated near to the door(s) being protected ensuring that attention is focused on this area if unauthorised entry is attempted.
