Product Overview

General Information

About – CARDLOCK readers are for use with Switch2 and Net2 systems. Installation – The reader is wired as shown on the control unit label. The cable exits centrally from the back of the reader making drilling and mounting very accurate. Operation – A card is swiped through the reader. Once a card has been read the control unit looks up the access permissions of that user. Access is then granted or denied as appropriate. Please note: This reader is suitable as an addition to, or a replacement within an existing standalone system. It is not possible to build a new standalone system with this reader as the Cardlock Starter packs are no longer available.
