DA448: 12V 5A DC or 24V 2.5A DC Power supply with UPS and monitoring
The DA448 power supply provides either a 12V DC (13.7) or a 24V DC (27.4) output. The output voltage can be changed from 12V to 24V by using a simple selector plug. These units provide two separate output terminal pairs and can house and charge two 12V 7Ah VRLA batteries.
Typical uses are for powering door access controllers, electric releases and magnetic-locks.
Selectable 12V or 24V DC output
The output voltage can be changed during installation from 12V to 24V DC by using a simple selector plug.
Integrated UPS battery back-up function
A 7Ah VRLA battery can be placed in the mild steel enclosure and connected to the battery terminals of the PCB. This power supply will automatically float-charge the battery to capacity, providing continuous uninterrupted power from the battery if mains power is unavailable.
Batteries are not included. This unit can be used with or without batteries fitted.
Mains fail signalling
These units are equipped with separate SPCO (Single-Pole Change-Over) contacts for mains-fail monitoring. If mains power is not detected for approximately 30 seconds, the relay contacts will change-over. Ideal for switching equipment or signalling to other systems.
Multi-purpose independent relay
This undedicated SPCO universal relay is electronically isolated from the power supply. It can be driven from a 12V or 24V DC supply. A typical use for this relay would be interfacing a fire panel with the power supply to de-power magnetic-locks in the event of a fire condition.
Mild steel powder-coated enclosures
Precision-made from mild steel and powder-coated white for an easy-clean, durable finish, this enclosure is ideal for wall mounting. The enclosure includes knock-outs for cable gland entries.
This unit is also available within a larger enclosure.
Input 230V AC @ 50Hz (+/- 10%)
Designed to operate on UK standard mains power, this unit will accept a mains-powered input of 230V AC @ 50Hz (+/- 10%)
Includes a spares-bag mounting kit
Each unit includes a spares-bag for the installation engineer. This kit contains useful items, such as cable glands, wall plugs and fixing screws.
